Why we built this

PDF tools have a reputation for being either expensive or frustrating. The paid options (Adobe Acrobat, Nitro, Foxit) do everything but cost hundreds of dollars a year. The free options typically either compress your result with a visible watermark, show you a "your free trial has expired" wall after three uses, or require you to create an account and verify your email before you can download a single file.

We built PDF Ninjas around a different premise: the tool should get out of your way. Upload a file, get a result, move on. No account required. No watermark on the output. No nagging you to upgrade. Just 25 free operations a year per email — enough for most people's real needs — and a clear, honest cap when you reach it.

How files are handled

We know that people upload sensitive documents to PDF tools — contracts, tax forms, medical records, financial statements. We take that seriously. Every file you upload to PDF Ninjas is:

• Processed in memory only. Files are never written to a disk or database. They exist only in RAM for the seconds it takes to process them.
• Deleted immediately after processing. The moment your download is ready, the file data is released. There is no window in which we could retrieve your document after delivery.
• Never read by humans. Our processing is fully automated. No employee reviews the content of any document.
• Never used for advertising or AI training. Your documents stay yours.

How we stay free

PDF Ninjas is free because it is ad-supported. After you download a processed file, you may see a Google AdSense advertisement. We don't show ads during the upload or processing flow — only on the download confirmation screen, and only to users who haven't exceeded their free limit yet.

The 25-operations-per-year limit exists because server processing costs real money. It's set high enough that most casual users will never hit it, while keeping the service sustainable without charging.
